To get your TIN
If you have a CAC registration but no TIN, do the following:
- Log on to the FIRS TIN verification website
- Enter your CAC Registration number (RC or BN)
- Select the appropriate search criteria and value
- Click Search.
- If successful, enter your email for details to be sent to your mail.

How To Pay Tax Online
There are 3 main ways of paying tax online in Nigeria.
- e-TaxPay
- Remita
- Interswitch
Pay Tax with e-TaxPay
- Logon to your bank’s Internet banking platform
- Click on NIBSS e-BillsPay
- Type Federal Inland Revenue Service in the search tab
- Input your TIN
- Pay
- Check your email for confirmation
- An FIRS official receipt is sent to your email 24 hours after payment.
Pay Tax with Remita
- Visit the FIRS website
- Click on e-services — then e-payment —then Remita
- Select TAX type
- Enter your TIN and fill in the other details
- Pay.
- Check email for acknowledgement
- Receipt will be sent 24 hours later.
Pay Tax with Interswitch
- Visit quickteller.com and login or sign up for a new account
- Type Federal Inland Revenue Service in the search bar
- Select TAX type
- Enter TIN, fill details
- Check email for acknowledgement
- Receipt will be sent 24 hours later.
