Owning a business is something that everyone can do quite easily… however, making that business survive and bring in a steady income is not so simple.

For a while now, I’ve been pondering on this topic, and I’ve come to find out that in almost every profession, there are hustlers. In my own simple definition, I do not, for any reason, believe that everyone was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. There are times when you simply have to go for it. You can find hustlers in music, in banking, in design, even in football.

They are the ones who go backstage and try to meet that singer – even when they know it’s almost impossible to do… and still they succeed.

They are the ones who, despite being told that they will never amount to anything in life, they rise to the status of fame and wealth – just because they hustled.

They are the ones who, instead of being born with a silver spoon in their mouth, they didn’t even have a spoon at all – still they made it.

These are hustlers. Fighters. Survivors. These are people who make it despite the odds.

So, How do you hustle in Business?

Hey, I don’t know! I do however know that hustlers aren’t quitters. So I’m going to give you 4 ways to hustle in your business.

– Hustlers never quit. They are like postage stamps. Say they started a business in block building. They keep at it; finding real estate agents to get contracts from and build. They stick to something and never stop until they get what they want.

– Hustlers are humble, not arrogant – at first. Even if it requires being stepped on, they let you step on them – and then when they get to where they are going, they step so hard on you it hurts. #sadbuttrue.

– They work hard. Hustlers are gifted. True, they are some dirty and underhanded hustlers, but I’m talking about the good kind. It’s their gifts that make ways for them. They use their gifts to hustle. Sleeping late and waking up early – working real hard so they can make ends meet. These are true hustlers.

– Finally, hustlers are prudent. They save, they don’t spend lavishly, and they have a focus. They know they are not where they ought to be, so they tread softly.

HUSTLING IS A THING OF PRIDE.

It’s no joke. Being a hustler is something to be proud of. You know you got to where you are simply by hard work and favor. No hand-me-downs. Think deeply about where you are now. You don’t qualify if you were given all you presently have by one relative or another. I’m talking to real survivors here.

It’s nothing to be a thief, or something even worse… but where you get a sense of pride is when you are able to say to yourself:

This is the work of my hands. Nothing brought me to this stage but hard work and favor. And HUSTLE.

I’m very proud and humbled to be a called a hustler.
