That&#8217;s why i&#8217;m writing this post on what to do when you lack inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever felt like you were wasting time being unproductive, spending too much hours on a particular design, and no matter what you try, nothing seems to work for you? Yea, we\u2019ve all felt that way. So, it is this experience that has borne the desire to share how I overcame this particular problem.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2177321403470136\" data-ad-slot=\"5058759332\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h2>So, what causes a lack of Inspiration?<\/h2>\n<p>Different things can prevent a writer or designer from experiencing the fullness of his creativity.<\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>Poor working environment<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2712\" src=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/poor-working-envt.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/poor-working-envt.jpg 800w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/poor-working-envt-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/poor-working-envt-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/poor-working-envt-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cluttered desktop, cluttered working desk, un-cleared plates, and a total unhygienic attitude to your PC and its environs can constitute to a serious writers block! <em>Clear your desk, change your wall papers, and you\u2019ll see the engine of your brain station restored<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Lack of motivation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2713\" src=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/how-lack-of-motivation.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"848\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/how-lack-of-motivation.png 848w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/how-lack-of-motivation-600x318.png 600w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/how-lack-of-motivation-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/how-lack-of-motivation-768x408.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lack of design jobs can kill your desire to design fast. When I don\u2019t have sites or graphics to design, my motivation just dies, and no matter how hard I try, nothing! That\u2019s one of the challenges of a freelancer, so you just got to stick with it! You chose it, so lump it. <i>How to solve?\u00a0<\/i><em>You can design wallpapers and offer them as freebies on your blog or on another site like smashing magazine.<\/em> It works for me as well, and I\u2019ve ended up doing more wallpapers than I have bargained for. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smashingmagazine.com\/valentines-day-wallpapers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I even designed a couple for the usual smashing magazine series<\/a> then.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Lack of money:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2714\" src=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-1500x1000.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-1000x667.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-750x500.jpg 750w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/moni-500x333.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lack of money prevents you from buying software that can aid inspiration and even tutorials that can help you be a better designer. I\u2019ve been there. It\u2019s a temporary place everyone must be in once in a while. But it\u2019s not permanent. The jobs will come, and voila! The inspiration will come back like a flood. But what happens when we find ourselves without inspiration simply because our pockets are dry? <em>Then <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashingmagazine.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>change your source of inspiration<\/em><\/a><em> to another channel. That\u2019s why it\u2019s always good to have another job you do, another means of income.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>Personal Problems:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2715\" src=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/arrows-600x330.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/arrows-600x330.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pishondesigns.org\/Dbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/arrows-600x330-300x165.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m sure you guys know exactly what I\u2019m talking about. Constant quarreling with your partner and all that kind of stuff brings strife both in and out of the workplace. Try as much as you can to live in peace with people so you can bring out the best in what you do. I\u2019ve never had it worse designing stuff or being creative than when I have problems with my boyfriend or my family; it so spills into my design that I feel totally unproductive in life and work respectively. See, whatever the problem is, deal with it. Don&#8217;t let it spill into your work life and in the end you lose both ways.\u00a0 The problem can never be that bad;<em> let him go and face your work or settle it and be happier. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2177321403470136\" data-ad-slot=\"5058759332\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h3>So, Here&#8217;s What To Do When You Lack Inspiration<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Clear your desktop.<\/strong><\/span> Design or download a new wall paper. Whatever the case, change the design on your screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Move out for a while from where you are.<\/strong><\/span> It may be that familiarity is breeding contempt. You need to change. Sometimes, I book a hotel for 3 days just to calm my mind and relax. This should help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Visit creativity inspired sites<\/strong><\/span> like smashing magazine, PSD Tuts, design Mag and other sites. Add to your list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Move away from your workspace for a while<\/span>.<\/strong> I have a desk in my room where I work, but recently, I\u2019ve been working from the dining table in the parlour. The change of desk made me more dedicated and added to my inspiration. You could try it, but in the end make sure you are comfortable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5)<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Have something that can spark your imagination<\/span>.<\/strong> I have a folder on my PC \u2013 I named it \u2018inspiring ideas\u2019 &#8211; where I store all sorts of images from funny to boring, and anytime I find I have issues with creativity, I simply open that folder and somehow, I find myself opening up Photoshop to see what design I can come up with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6) <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Watch a movie<\/span>.<\/strong> Could be comedy. Anything to take your mind off work. Try not to make it a habit though, because it is highly addictive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7)<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Invite friends over.<\/strong><\/span> Just the weekend past, I had a girlfriend over. And we sure did have fun and I forgot all about work for the entire day and next and spent it with my guitar. Talk about inspiration!<\/p>\n<p><strong>8)<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Learn something new.<\/strong><\/span> Nothing sparks inspiration like a new challenge. I\u2019m planning on taking a few Spanish classes, myself. Anyone know where I can start?<\/p>\n<p>So that\u2019s it, folks. The steps above are What to do when you lack inspiration.
