The Moto G6 was announced April 2018, and it is one of our 5 top android phones under $300<\/strong>.\u00a0You’re not going to find a better, more premium-looking phone at this price than the Moto G6.\u00a0It comes with a 5.7-inch\u00a0IPS LCD\u00a0covered in Gorilla Glass 3 and Full HD+ resolution (2,160 x 1,080).<\/p>\n

SPECS AT A GLANCE:<\/strong> 32GB, Snapdragon 415, 3GB RAM, 3000mAh.<\/span><\/p>\n

NOT SO GOOD:<\/strong> Weak Battery life, don’t expect OTA software updates, camera is ok – not great, and speakers are well… em, just there.<\/p>\n

If you don’t have any high specifics, then this is a really really good phone.\u00a0There is a 64GB and 4GB of RAM option that\u2019s worth it if you can afford another $50.<\/p>\n

If just looking for an inexpensive, no-frills device that gets the basics right, the Nokia 6.1 is the phone to buy. You get a metal body, stock Android, a good update policy, USB-C, and a headphone jack. It gets our number 2 pick on our\u00a05 top android phones under $300 list.<\/p>\n

The Nokia 6.1 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630\u2014an eight core Cortex A53-based chip build on a 14nm process.<\/p>\n

The performance of these cheaper devices is always a concern, and it’s one of the few areas of the Nokia 6.1 where you do feel the lower price tag. It’s just never going to feel as smooth and fast as a flagship phone. Performance can be decent as long as nothing is happening in the background. If the phone is downloading something or installing an app or update, it will slow to a crawl. Multitasking is just not its strong suit. — Android Police<\/p>\n
